NYRR Staten Island Half - Staten Island, New York - Running

The NYRR Staten Island Half is a Running race in Staten Island, New York consisting of a Half Marathon.

The first NYRR Staten Island Half took place almost 40 years ago in 1987 to showcase the borough that hosts the start of the TCS New York City Marathon. This year's race takes place just four weeks before Marathon Sunday, so it's a perfect dress rehearsal for November 5 that features fabulous views of the New York Harbor and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.

The NYRR Staten Island Half will start in two waves. You will receive your wave and corral assignment in your confirmation email the week before the race.

It is the final event in the NYRR Five Borough Series, as well as the sixth and final event in the 4 Out of 6 program. All entrants will receive a New Balance long-sleeve tech tee, and all finishers will receive a medal.

The race starts on Bay Street near the Staten Island Ferry Terminal and takes runners out past Ocean Breeze Park before heading back through Fort Wadsworth on the way to the finish on Bay Street. Exact course details will be confirmed closer to race day.
